Research Interests

I am working on machine learning methods to enhance clock synchronization, data rate, and ranging performance aboard satellites using laser communications. I am also working on correcting channel-aberrations during uplink and downlink with such methods, which extends into the realm of adaptive optics.

Biography

Astronomy was my first love, and math was my second.

I received my Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech in May of 2021 and started my PhD program at PSSL that August. During my time here, I worked on the CubeSat Laser Infrared CrosslinK mission, TA'd for the Fundamentals of Machine Learning course in the ECE department, and interned for the Air Force Research Laboratory's Directed Energy Directorate.
